Plagiarism Screening
ALTASIA: Jurnal Pariwisata Indonesia is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all manuscripts submitted for publication. All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening before proceeding to the peer-review process.
The similarity index of submitted manuscripts must be below 24%. Manuscripts that meet or exceed this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the extent and nature of the similarities identified. The editorial team evaluates similarity reports to determine whether matched text results from properly cited quotations, references, commonly used terminology, or potential plagiarism. A similarity score alone does not determine whether plagiarism has occurred.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original, that all sources are properly cited, and that previously published materials are appropriately acknowledged. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and other forms of publication misconduct are not permitted. ALTASIA reserves the right to request revisions, reject manuscripts, or take further action in accordance with its publication ethics policy if plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified.
By submitting a manuscript to ALTASIA, authors acknowledge and agree to comply with the journal's plagiarism screening policy.
