AI Declaration

ALTASIA: Jurnal Pariwisata Indonesia recognizes that artificial intelligence (AI) tools may assist authors in preparing scholarly manuscripts. Authors who use AI tools, including generative AI, must disclose their use transparently.

Authors are required to declare the use of AI tools in the preparation of their manuscripts, including the name of the tool and its purpose, such as language editing, grammar correction, translation, data analysis, or content generation, where applicable.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and validity of their manuscripts, including any content produced or modified with the assistance of AI tools. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or take responsibility for the published work.

The use of AI tools must not replace the authors’ intellectual contributions, critical evaluation, or verification of research findings and references. Authors must ensure that all information generated or assisted by AI is carefully reviewed and verified before submission.

Failure to disclose the use of AI tools when required may be considered a breach of the journal’s publication ethics and may result in further editorial action.
