Conflict of Interest

ALTASIA: Jurnal Pariwisata Indonesia is committed to ensuring transparency, objectivity, and integrity throughout the publication process. All authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence, or be perceived to influence, their professional judgment, research findings, or editorial decisions.

A conflict of interest may arise from financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other relationships that could affect the impartiality of research or the publication process. Such conflicts may include employment, consultancy, funding, financial interests, personal relationships, academic competition, or affiliations with organizations related to the submitted manuscript.

Authors must disclose all relevant conflicts of interest when submitting their manuscripts. If no conflicts exist, authors should explicitly state that they have no conflicts of interest to declare. Funding sources and the role of sponsors in the research, manuscript preparation, and publication process must also be disclosed where applicable.

Reviewers must declare any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could compromise their impartiality. Reviewers should decline an invitation to review a manuscript if such conflicts exist or if they are unable to provide an objective assessment.

Editors must disclose and manage any conflicts of interest that could affect their editorial judgment. Editors who have a conflict of interest regarding a submitted manuscript must withdraw from the decision-making process and ensure that the manuscript is handled independently by another qualified editor.

All disclosed conflicts of interest will be evaluated by the editorial team, and appropriate measures will be taken to maintain the fairness and credibility of the publication process. Failure to disclose relevant conflicts of interest may result in editorial action in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy.

ALTASIA: Jurnal Pariwisata Indonesia upholds the principles of transparency, accountability, and editorial independence in handling all matters related to conflicts of interest.
