Abstract

Sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisata adalah mengadakan event wisata yang atraktif pada destinasi unggulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh memorable tourist experience dalam memediasi hubungan antara tourist engagement dan niat berkunjung ulang wisatawan terhadap event wisata di Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam proses penelitian adalah data primer. Data diperoleh dari responden yang memenuhi karakteristik yang telah ditentukan yaitu seluruh wisatawan nusantara yang pernah mengunjungi event wisata yang diadakan di Sumatera Barat periode Januari-Juni 2023. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah SEM- PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: tourist engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap revisit intention dan tourist engagement; berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap memorable tourist experience dan memorable tourist experience; berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap revisit intention dan memorable tourist experience; memediasi hubungan antara tourist engagement dan revisit intention secara signifikan.
