Pemilihan Kaliurang sebagai Potensi Wisata Strategis untuk Mahasiswa

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mengetahui minat mahasiswa UII Yogyakarta lebih memilih Kaliurang sebagai tempat tinggal dan lokasi yang strategis. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi penelitian tindakan lapangan dengan menyebarkan angket kepada 100 orang responden. Responden dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa UII yang tinggal di sekitar Kaliurang. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif deskriptif berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan angket. Peneliti menemukan bahwa mahasiswa UII lebih memilih tinggal di Kaliurang daripada wilayah lainnya di Yogyakarta. Alasan mahasiswa memilih tinggal di Kaliurang karena lokasi tersebut dekat ke pelbagai tempat wisata. Kemudian, harga makanan murah, variasi makanan di sekitar Kaliurang banyak, dan cuaca yang lebih dingin dibandingkan dengan Yogyakarta. Selain itu, sebagai lokasi wisata kuliner, Kaliurang lebih nyaman dibandingkan dengan Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini memberikan pengetahuan kepada generasi milenial khususnya mahasiswa dalam memilih lokasi yang strategis untuk tempat tinggal. Selain itu, penelitian ini membantu sektor wisata di Kaliurang untuk lebih aktif lagi dan dikenal masyarakat luas.
