About the Journal

Welcome to the Journal of Law and Policy Transformation (JLPT).

Since its establishment in 2016, JLPT has grown into a dynamic, open-access, and peer-reviewed platform dedicated to advancing scholarly dialogue in the fields of law and public policy. Published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Internasional Batam, the journal is committed to fostering critical, interdisciplinary, and globally relevant discussions on legal development, regulatory reform, and policy transformation.

We are proud that JLPT has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia under Decree No. 152/E/KPT/2023 (25 September 2023), achieving a SINTA 3 ranking. This recognition reflects our continuous efforts to uphold high academic standards, strengthen editorial quality, and expand our scholarly impact both nationally and internationally.

JLPT publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, and critical analyses that address contemporary legal and policy issues from diverse perspectives. We welcome contributions from academics, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide, encouraging works that are not only analytically rigorous but also socially relevant and forward-looking.

As a biannual journal published in June and December, JLPT strives to remain responsive to the evolving challenges of law and governance in an increasingly complex global landscape.
