About the Journal

Sang Sewagati Journal (Sasenal) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Internasional Batam. Sasenal is published twice a year (biannual), every February and August. Sasenal is intended to be the journal for publishing results of Legal Services, Community Engagement of the Law Sector, Legal Aid, and Advocacy. Sasenal exclusively publishes articles using the Open Access Journal (OJS) system. As a journal that has special attention to issues of community advocacy and legal services, Sasenal also collaborates with several institutions and agencies, including the Legal Aid Institute and the Indonesian Advocates Association.
