Penguatan Kreativitas, Solidaritas, dan Kesejahteraan Anak Yatim melalui Pengabdian di Yayasan Nurul Hidayah Batam

This community service program was carried out at Yayasan Nurul Hidayah Batam on October 20, 2024, involving 20 orphaned children aged 6–12 years. The aim of the activity was to enhance children’s creativity, togetherness, and socio-emotional skills through cooperative games, while also providing social assistance in the form of food packages to support their basic needs. The implementation method included needs assessment, group-based picture guessing games, distribution of food aid, as well as observation and evaluation. The results showed improvements in communication skills, teamwork, self-confidence, and positive behaviors such as tolerance and leadership among the children. In addition, the food assistance helped ease the economic burden of the orphanage and created a more supportive learning environment. Overall, this program contributed significantly to the development of the children and strengthened social bonds between the students, the orphanage, and the surrounding community..
