Abstract

This community service activity was carried out by students of Universitas Internasional Batam through a visit to Ash-Shoodiq Orphanage in Batam City on October 20, 2024. The main objectives were to foster social awareness, create a sense of togetherness, and enhance the curiosity of the children through various educational and entertaining activities. The methods included the provision of basic necessities and groceries, as well as interactive sessions such as storytelling, question-and-answer activities, and quizzes. The results indicated that the children enthusiastically participated in all activities, the orphanage administrators felt supported by the assistance provided, and the students gained valuable experiences in empathy, communication, and teamwork. This activity is expected to inspire the wider community to be more socially aware and to actively participate in providing support, either through donations or direct involvement in similar social initiatives.
