Abstract

XYZ is a company engaged in the rental business of catering equipment located in South Jakarta. PT. XYZ rents out various types of catering equipment such as plates, spoons, cutlery, glasses, and others. At this time, PT. XYZ needs to analyze which products are the most popular or most frequently borrowed by customers at a specific timeline. This would be beneficial for PT. XYZ to decide the availability of new supplies in the future. PT. XYZ could also adjust the items owned to the interests or taste of their customers. The data analytics process is carried out in a data warehouse by utilizing the apriori algorithm with Pandas software. Pandas is an easy to use package and has a high-performance in Python programming language. By doing the analytics process, we find out which itemsets are often borrowed and also the rental activities trending patterns’ from each customer. Based on the analytics results, PT. XYZ prepares some strategic plans to ensure a successful business process re-engineering.
