Menebarkan Kebaikan dan Cinta Sesama sebagai Wujud Iman dan Taqwa di Panti Asuhan Nurjannah Batam

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out at the Nurjannah Orphanage, Batam, with the theme “Spreading Kindness and Love for Others as a Manifestation of Faith and Piety”. It aims to foster students’ social awareness while providing educational and welfare support for the children of the orphanage. A participatory method was applied through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation, with two main activities: an Islamic quiz session and social assistance in the form of a shared meal. The quiz was designed to be enjoyable and adjusted to the children’s age levels so that they felt comfortable and confident in answering, while the shared meal supported their nutritional needs and strengthened a family-like atmosphere. The results show enthusiasm and active participation from the children, an improvement in their religious understanding, and the growth of empathy, gratitude, and social responsibility among the students.
