Abstract:
This work was aimed to build understanding on the process of founding and managing a language course particularly a German Course Habibie Education Youth in Batam City. In this work, a qualitative approach was used as it recorded and analysed the result of interview with the owner of the language course describing the start up to the stage of developing and the way sustaining the business. From this sharing best practice, this resulted in three essential points, first, it needed a sharp foresight to find such an opportunity and made it aligned to the market need. Second, Innovation on service not only offering on what’s needed but also providing something beyond that could be imagined by the prospective customer. Third, resolving resource scarcity as a form of eagerness in business and maximising network as social capital in accelerating business development
