            Development of the Batam Island into an industrial area since 1970 led to an acceleration of economic growth followed by a very high population growth rate. The characteristics of the population of Batam, which are majority of migrant residents oriented to work in the industrial sector, make it possible to meet the housing needs of the occupants, which are industry workers.

            Results analysis of housing for industrial workers in Batam City are the development of housing for industrial workers in the vertical housing. Feasibility study of developing housing adevelopment is developing integrated housing development areas that provide commercial facilities that support the necessities of life for its residents.
