Covid-19 is an epidemic that attacks the world today, coronavirus is a collection of subfamilies of orthocoronavirinae which are in the family of coronaviridae and the ordo nidovirales. Which is where this virus causes diseases in mammals, birds, to human. In march 2020 the outbreak was even more widespread with many infected victims, through digital media, the spread of news about covid-19 was also numerous and uncontrolled, hoax news spread became the causes of anxiety for most of the general public, even this could be an opportunity for persons who want to raise media ratings. Filtering news information must also be donr so that people do not receive information that is nott in accordance with the reality in the field
