Database is a data storage medium that can be used to facilitate searching, storing and changing data on a large scale. This research was conducted to compare the MySQL and SQL Server databases in transaction process of TPC-C on HammerDB and the comparison of technical spesifications. The results obtained are that SQL Server is superior in conducting transactions on very large scale amounts of data and it is also found that the SQL Server database has advantages in database security systems and MySQL has advantages in a variety of programming language choices that can be used.
