The development of smartphone cameras is quite significant lately to make more and more people who learn photography techniques to get photos of smartphone cameras as good as using DLSR cameras. The research aims to compare technical specifications and support applications of DLSR cameras with a smarphone camera. The results showed that a smartphones camera gave advantages to the price, ease of use, while on a DLSR camera had an advantage over the results provided, improved auto Focus Features and multishoot. From the research results researchers recommend using the Canon EOS 1500D Kit EF-S, as a DLSR camera for hobby users, based on features and prices.
